At CAMI Interiors, we believe a kitchen should be more than just a functional space, it should feel intentional, refined, and welcoming. This recently completed kitchen perfectly illustrates how thoughtful design can merge bold character with timeless simplicity.

A Statement in Green

The first thing that captures your attention is the deep green cabinetry. Rich, confident, and grounding, this colour choice introduces a sophisticated mood while still feeling fresh and contemporary. Green has become one of the most versatile colours in modern interiors, it connects beautifully with natural materials and brings a sense of calm into the heart of the home.

In this space, the floor-to-ceiling cabinetry creates a seamless wall of storage, keeping the kitchen visually clean while maximising practicality. Integrated appliances and concealed storage ensure that everyday functionality never interrupts the aesthetic.

Warm Natural Contrasts

To soften the bold cabinetry, warm timber elements are introduced through the open shelving and cabinetry detailing. This layered material palette adds depth and warmth, preventing the darker tones from feeling heavy.

The open display shelf provides a subtle moment for styling, ceramics, sculptural pieces, and greenery bring personality without cluttering the design. Integrated lighting beneath the shelving gently highlights these elements and creates a warm evening ambience.

The Heart of the Space: A Sculptural Island

The kitchen island anchors the entire room. Finished in a smooth, light-toned surface, it contrasts beautifully with the darker cabinetry while keeping the overall palette balanced and elegant.

More than just a workspace, the island becomes a social hub. With comfortable bar seating, it invites casual dining, conversation, and connection. The waterfall edge detail adds a sculptural quality, elevating the island from purely functional to architectural.

Lighting That Complements the Design

Above the island, three oversized glass pendant lights introduce transparency and softness. Their simple form allows them to make a statement without overpowering the space, while the warm glow enhances the natural materials throughout the kitchen.

Lighting plays a critical role in kitchen design — not just for functionality but also for atmosphere. In this space, layered lighting ensures the kitchen feels welcoming from morning coffee through to evening entertaining.

Clean Lines, Thoughtful Details

Minimalism in this kitchen does not mean a lack of detail. Subtle touches, from the brass cabinet handles to the integrated appliances and streamlined joinery, contribute to the overall sense of precision and craftsmanship.

Large shutters allow natural light to flood the room while maintaining privacy and control over brightness throughout the day. This natural illumination further enhances the soft tones of the timber and stone surfaces.

Designed for Modern Living

Today’s kitchens are no longer hidden away; they are central to how we live and entertain. This design reflects that shift by creating a space that is both beautiful and highly functional. Every element has been considered to support everyday living while maintaining a refined visual language.

The result is a kitchen that feels calm, contemporary, and effortlessly stylish, a true centrepiece of the home.
