Constantia Project - Farm-Styled Modern Kitchen

Step into this CAMI Interiors-designed kitchen and you’re immediately met with a masterclass in warm minimalism. With its thoughtful blend of natural materials, clean lines, and refined finishes, this space is not just a kitchen—it’s an experience in comfort and timeless design.

Warm Wood Meets Modern Utility

The cabinetry, constructed in beautifully grained light oak, anchors the space with a sense of organic tranquility. Paired with soft-close drawers, concealed appliances, and integrated handles, the design is clean yet tactile. The gentle contrast between the natural wood tones and the crisp white walls adds visual depth without ever feeling cluttered.

A farmhouse-style sink sits beneath a sleek polished chrome tap, harmonizing rustic charm with contemporary ease. Above, floating shelves showcase curated ceramics, copper cookware, and cookbooks—each item carefully placed, each shelf softly illuminated by subtle underlighting.

Functional Artistry in Every Corner

One of the standout features is the centrally positioned island, crafted with the same oak wood and topped in brushed stainless steel. It’s both workhorse and showpiece—durable for prep, elegant for hosting. Beneath it, a slatted wood shelf offers additional open storage, perfect for larger items or styled baskets.

Across the room, a vintage-inspired white SMEG fridge blends seamlessly with the cabinetry, nodding to classic European kitchens while providing all the modern conveniences. Open shelving around it is styled with antique grinders and hand-thrown pottery, adding layers of character and storytelling.

Cohesion Through Craftsmanship

The kitchen's floor is laid in a soft-toned encaustic tile, its delicate pattern offering just enough visual intrigue without overpowering the space. This, coupled with the creamy subway tile backsplash, reinforces the room’s gentle, tactile aesthetic.

Even the lighting is intentional—recessed ceiling spots ensure an ambient glow while leaving the focus on the materiality and details of the design.

A Living Kitchen

CAMI Interiors has created more than just a kitchen. This is a room designed to evolve with its users—to host late-night conversations over wine, to cradle quiet early-morning coffees, and to inspire culinary creativity. It is warm, liveable, and effortlessly beautiful.
